JOUBERT VAN WYK (DIRECTOR)
Joubert started his Municipal career in January 1987 in Verwoerdburg/Centurion (incorporated into the City of Tshwane). He also served as a municipal official in Randburg (incorporated into Joburg) and in Rustenburg. He gained experience in the municipal environment under the leadership of a number dedicated and committed City Managers and City Treasurers, who served their respective communities with pride, dignity, and honour to the best of their abilities.
On 1 April 2019 Joubert started RENA Municipal Consultants to assist municipal account holders with problems on their accounts. He is serving his clients with honesty, pride and dignity and is always willing to share his knowledge and experience with his clients. He is always willing to assist with new challenges and is always proud of his achievements.
With his experience and knowledge of the municipal environment he understands the problems on municipal accounts and the steps to be taken to get these problems resolved. His ability to understand complex issues and his solution driven approach enable him to resolve problems that were unresolved for many years.
His passion for water management helped numerous clients to optimise their water consumption and saving anything between 10% and 90%. Large water users are usually unaware of the losses and the possible savings that could be realised. Water leaks, water pressure and excessive irrigation are just some of the issues that could help to get water consumption under control. His analytic ability to calculate water losses and possible savings are accurate and is a huge asset for the industry in a country where water is a scarce resource.
